Aspen Grove Public Sabbat Circle presents

Lughnasadh Ritual and Camping

Presented by Garran Na Laethe Bhi Ord Draiochta Na Uisnech (The Druid Order of Uisnech)
Date: July 30-August 2, 2010
Location: Strawberry (same place as last year, see below for directions)

Rituals
Friday - Druid Fire Lighting Ceremony 5:00 PM
Saturday – Lughnasadh Ritual 6:30 PM, Potluck Dinner after ritual

Events and Debauchery
-Campfire drumming, songs and other merriment on both nights
-Mardi Gras bead contest-collect the most beads by Saturday at midnight and win a prize
-Guising on Saturday beginning at Sunset
-Saturday Night Kid-Twister and Adult Twister
-Pagan Bartering for Wares all day Saturday
-Mother Goose Children’s Story & Craft circle on Saturday afternoon

Additional Information
- Please bring a dish to share for the potluck dinner on Saturday
- Please bring a bundle of wood per person to keep our fire burning bright
- Show your love of the Goddess by keeping the campsites and bonfire area clean
- Children are welcome. We ask that parents curfew minors by 11 PM (Adults need their fun too)
- Porta-potties will arrive on Friday. The money maiden will ask for monetary donations toward this essential cause.

Directions (approximately an hour from Salt Lake) -

I-80 East from Salt Lake up toward Park City
Get off I-80 at exit 146 Heber/Vernal
Go through Heber up Daniels Canyon
Turn Left at mile marker 37- Strawberry River
Watch for signs!
Keep to the gravel road for approx 4 miles.
There will be a gravel road on the left, turn left and follow this road keeping on the main road for approximately 1 mile.

Garbage at public camping events.

I do not mind hauling out trash that has already been PRE arranged with me.
But the FUCKING AUDACITY of just expecting someone else to haul out their garbage is annoying. Not to mention dropping stuff on the ground and not at least the next morning picking it up. I am happy that the Druid group and a few of my good friends helped police the campsite. We left it better that when we arrived which is something my ethics and honour demand. Someone left a green broken chair for heck sake.
